been too busy with politics (e-mail me
here if you want the full story).  Very
sorry about the absence.  However, I've received a lot of e-mails asking
which films I liked best this year and who I think will win.  So I'm giving in:  
Below are my five personal favorites in each top category (with an *asterisk*
next to my #1 pick), my Top 10 list for the year, and who I think will actually
win the Oscars in 2 weeks.  Not sure when I'll be back, but hope this helps...
