This was no surprise (to me at least) and at but confirms that "The Return of the King" will prove
unstoppable on the 29th. I'm still surprised that "In America," "The Station Agent," and "Seabiscuit"
managed to score nods here.

The biggest shock of the night, and it throws the Best Actor race completely up in the air. But in the
end, I bet the comedic performances of Johnny Depp and Bill Murray cancel each other out and leave
Sean Penn the victor. It's just too bad Depp wasn't at the SAG ceremony to make a speech.

It's final -- Charlize Theron is taking home the Oscar. She gave a very teary acceptance speech which
seems like a great dry run for the big ceremony next Sunday. This was the last chance for Diane
Keaton and Naomi Watts, and it just didn't happen.

Another Oscar guarantee -- Tim Robbins will become an Oscar winner in about a week. Although I
thought it was a great performance, I wish he was up against some stronger competition (like Peter

I am very sick of Renee Zellweger, but unfortunately it looks like she'll take home the Oscar. I'm
flirting with the idea of changing my final Oscar prediction to Shohreh Aghdashloo -- the whole show
can't be this easy to predict, can it? There has to be at least one surprise...
